What you'll do

When you come to Warsaw, you have little idea what this city really is about. And that's exactly what Antoni wants to convey to you on this tour.
It starts at the 237-meter-high Palace of Culture and Science, the symbol of the city, the second tallest building in the country, the most hated and at the same time most admired building in Warsaw.
Then we continue along Swietokrzyska Street, past the Memorial to the Warsaw Insurgents. The uprising and communism are essential for understanding the architectural chaos of the city. A mess that you can only love or hate. Antoni loves it and who knows, maybe you'll learn to love it on this date too.
The next stop is at the Copernicus Monument. This is where begins the Royal Route, the main tourist artery with the most expensive hotels in the city, the Presidential Palace, the Warsaw University campus and the historically very important Pilsudski Square. The musical genius Frédéric Chopin grew up here.
The Royal Route ends where Warsaw's Old Town begins. It has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1980 and is still considered the best reconstruction of an old town ever.
Here you can admire the beautiful Castle Square with the King´s Castle and the Old Town and, above all, visit a good restaurant or bar. Antoni is happy to help.

I am the owner of Walking Poland (Group), founded in Warsaw in 2014. I previously had a city guide license for Warsaw and since then have been showing people from all over the world life in the city. Since I grew up in Germany and was born in Poland, I like to say about myself that my Polish heart pumps the blood into the German brain. I would now like to use the experience I have gained and pass it on to the guests.
The tours follow the philosophy of Guiding 2.0, which means that the focus is not so much on the buildings and their dates and builders. The aim is rather to understand the lifestyle and the character of the city and its inhabitants. Rather, the buildings serve as a backdrop and the history is presented and explained in a tourist-friendly manner.

Antoni’s tour was an excellent introduction to Warsaw. His insights into the city’s past and present were fascinating. The three hours flew by. Couldn’t have been better.

Antoni was the perfect Polish native guide!! He was well informed, easy going , good sense of humor , and made everyone feel comfortable and had great knowledge and world experience!! He went out of his way to personalize our tour . It was one of the best part of my trips. I’d highly recommend doing a tour with him!!!

Danke!!
