Commencing trek in the foothill of Annapurna Himal provides an opportunity to visit villages and experience cultural life of simple folks living in hills. The famous Machhapuchhre peak (Matterhorn of Nepal) can always be seen from any point on this trek. Australian Base Camp is a well known name and has vantage point to see the Himalaya range all around. Another beautiful part of the trip is to see the rural life with the rich culture of the Gurung ethnic group and their tradition.The Australian camp trek is a fairly easy trek in the beautiful foothills of the Annapurna. The trip offers gorgeous views over the valleys and stunning views of the Annapurna Mountain range. This trip can be done all year round and is also very suitable for people without any hiking experience and people of all ages. The highest point is around 2000 meter, thus this is a family trek. It will give you a great impression of the Himalayas in all her magnificence. From sunrise to sunset the colors will keep on changing offering the most incredible views. You will hike through dense forest, along the hillsides and through mountain villages where we will stop for drinks, lunch etc. This trek is suitable for those wishing to experience Nepal mountain scenery and ethnic culture within a short period of time.

    Day 02: Australian Camp (2232 m.) – 3/ 4
    From Dhampus the trail climbs steadily and gradually to Pothana (1890m). The gradual uphill walk is about 2 hours.

    Trek to Sarangkot(1592 m.) and descend
    Trek to Sarangkot(1592 m.) and descend to Pokhara – 4/5 hours walk.
