What you'll do

The experience starts on the Thonburi side of Bangkok, where you’ll cycle through winding alleys to a local Thai family’s restaurant to enjoy an authentic Thai meal.

After dinner, you’ll cycle through a few lesser-known areas to see Bangkok like a local. We’ll stop at Wat Arun where you’ll want to take photos and then cross the Chao Phraya River on a local ferry.

Once on the other side of the river, we cycle to Wat Pho where Jam will show you around the temple lit up at night. Next, we’ll cycle around the Royal Grand Palace then onto the Bangkok flower market. At the flower market, you’ll experience the beauty and exoticism of the fresh flowers.

Then we head toward Chinatown where you’ll experience cycling among the bright neon lights and the many market alleys and street food vendors savouring the sights, sounds and smells of Chinatown.

Finally, we cross the river on a local ferry and cycle like a local through some of the winding back streets. The ride concludes at your original departure point.

I’m Jam and together my boyfriend Paul and our friends Woody and Jobe we host this experience - I do the talking and the history and Paul makes sure that the bikes work! Together we’ve cycled all over the world but the backstreets and lesser trodden paths of Thailand will always be where our heart is.

We have done cycle rides around Bangkok and Thailand for many years. I studied Thai history at university and will talk about the history of the places you visit.

Cycle with us in Bangkok and you’ll see many hidden gems and local sights that you can only really appreciate on two wheels.

Sometimes we also need a holiday too or we might be on another tour on those days the tours will be hosted by our friends Woody and Mr Jobe,

Had a great time. Nice ride through places I could never have done on my own. Great to hear insights from a local.

What a magical night! The evening started on a delightful note. I had a little trouble finding the shop and Jam sent out a group of neighborhood kids on bikes to find me :) The tour itself was so much fun! Jam really knows the city well and it was amazing to follow her on twists and turns through the neighborhoods. The dinner was delicious and very unique to get to have dinner in a small, family restaurant. Nothing any tourist would be able to find on their own. Seeing the temples lit up at night was magical, and Jam was so informative about the history of Bangkok. I loved the visit to the Flower Market, a riot of color and activity even at 10:00pm at night. Jam also introduced us to how to eat fruit Thai style with various toppings, and I got to try delicious Thai olives. Ending the night in bright, bustling Chinatown with a dim sum snack was really fun. Paul did a great job keeping us save in traffic by bringing up the rear and getting us water at several points. Highly recommend this fun, delicious and informative experience!

A terrific way to see some of the most interesting sights in Bangkok. We loved seeing the temples illuminated at night and with far fewer crowds than the daytime. The Thai restaurant we visited served the best curry we had during our 3 month stay in Thailand. Riding through the side streets and alleys is not for the faint hearted! The bikes were in good condition. As with any tour, the guide is most essential. Jam wasn't available for our tour unfortunately. Overall, a good experience.

What an adventure! We followed our amazing guide, Jo Jo, through the wild street and walkways of Bangkok to temples, the flower market, China town, and had a lovely local meal! We would have never been able to find the restaurant ourselves or see all of those sites without this tour! Highly recommend!
