The bedroom is furnished with a comfy king size bed. The living room has a couch and twin pullout with a contemporary electric see-though fireplace. The deck is a great to enjoy your complimentary continental breakfast or hot tub. The fully equipped kitchen also has views of the lake. During winter months, an AWD or 4WD is recommended.

Ranch-style 460 sq ft studio with full bathroom & attached kitchen area. This studio has epic views of the creek & mountains and is located 200 ft from the main house. We have been told it is of the most beautiful locations in Colorado! 15 minutes to downtown Durango, 20 minutes to Purgatory Ski Resort, and 5 minutes to the Hot Springs & a shopping plaza, and 40 minutes to the airport. There is a cafe/gas station/liquor store across the road. We also have another airbnb here with a spa deck!

Town? or Country? We'd like to be a " Best Choice " for guests. If there are second thoughts about our location 12 miles east of Durango, 2ndWind Ranch is not a good match for you! Please book in town. The ranch is on the mesa, above the river valley where Durango is located. It has 2 min. access to HWY 550. Rural, not wilderness. Suitable for 2 Adults. Not suitable for guests who prefer to be within walking distance of shops and restaurants.Pet free/smoke free. A 20-30 minute drive to town.

Entire private guest suite with 2 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom, kitchen, washer dryer, living room, TV, yard, and picnic table. Peaceful, country home surrounded by green pastures 2wheel drive accessible. Close to historic Durango, Two ski resorts, mountain activities, casino, and river activities. 10 minute drive to airport. 25 minutes to Durango. 5 min to Bayfield/Ignacio. An extremely friendly german shepherd dog (Max).He is a sweet, amiable dog but he is never inside your space.

Mountain Views and Starry Skies in the Countryside

Come enjoy the quiet of the country, only 15 minutes south of town. Stunning views of the La Plata Mountains and dark night skies for great star-gazing! Nice area for cycling and walking. Many of our neighbors have donkeys, horses, llamas and goats, chicken and sheep. No cigarette smoking but we are 420 friendly (outside only please!). We are a safe place for women travelers. There is a Labrador Retriever that lives on this property but is not allowed in the guest suite.
